My favorite gaming surface hands down

This is my second pro mat. I have one on a big table upstairs in my house, and now this one which can be taken on and off our dining room table for gaming use as well. I had to trim this one down to size and some careful measurements a straight edge and a sharp utility knife cut the mat like butter with a clean perfect edge. I love these mats because they make cards easy to pick up and they help keep cardboard components from sliding around a slick wooden table. Everything stays in place and it looks stylish and professional. I have played on neoprene surfaces as well but I much prefer the Pro Matz surface. Dice bounce well and it greatly muffles the sounds. The mat we have upstairs has been in use for almost a year and it still looks and feels like the day we unrolled it. I can't recommend these mats enough for board gaming.
Great, but not quite perfect.

The weight and quality of the materials are top notch. It feels great and heavy and is a fantastic surface for all manner of tabletop gaming.
However, there are some areas for improvement. For example, the cutting of the mat on one side wasn't as cleanly done as it could be, and one corner wasn't quite straight with a bit of excess unkempt material. As well, whatever printing method is performed gives a very muted and dull look to the surface and doesn't look very vibrant.
I haven't had it long enough to see how well it retains it shape and if the fabric surface will eventually pull away from the rubber backing, but initial impressions are mostly positive.
Good, but could improve

For the money, this is one of the better game mats out there today. I've tried several other game mats and the ProMatz offers a good quality for reasonable price. The main drawback for this mat is deformation, especially along the edges. Even after using the mat for several months, it tends to curl up at the edges resulting in lost playing surface area.
Excellent surface for boardgames

Really happy with this game mat. Cool design, grips table surface well. Takes a bit of bending to keep the edges flat to the table (since it's rolled up for storage) but that's expected.
