Better than a table surface

This performs its function in that it improves gaming on a hard table. Things are easier to pick up and interacting with the table is nicer. I would definitely pick this over a regular table- the top material is nice and works well with cards.
The biggest problem is that the underside isn't grippy at all, it slides all over the place. You'd have to permanently attach it to something to get the best use of it. You could possibly attach grips to the bottom but it's light enough it wouldn't help much.
Because it's thin it won't flatten out super easily.
This mat is good for the price, but I would highly recommend going for a more expensive, higher quality mat. Better mats will have grip to the table, cushion (which makes everything more pleasant), and a nicer material on top.
